We Hunt Enablers
We use anti-corruption laws and public records to do it.
Anti-Corruption Action is a nonprofit that researches the bankers, lawyers, lobbyists and companies that enable corruption, and puts that evidence in front of governments, prosecutors, journalists and the public.
Authoritarian governments depend on corrupt enablers. Our mission is to find them, document what they do, and get that evidence to the people who can hold them accountable.

The Dekleptocracy Project
Research focused entirely on Ukraine. We map the companies, suppliers and financial networks that keep Russia's war economy running. Then we give that research to the governments that write sanctions.

Results
Our research helped shut down Arctic LNG 2, Vladimir Putin's massive liquefied natural gas plant in the Russian Arctic. It has also informed the European Union and the U.S. government on multiple sanctions packages.

Authoritarianism does not survive without corrupt enablers
Authoritarians need infrastructure
No authoritarian consolidates power alone. They need bankers to move the money, lawyers to create the structures, politicians to look the other way, and business leaders to legitimize the regime. These are the enablers.
Enablers escape justice
Accountability efforts focus on the top. Heads of state are sometimes prosecuted. Oligarchs are sanctioned. But the enablers who make it all possible are rarely investigated and seldom charged.
We focus on them
Anti-Corruption Action investigates enablers. We map their networks, document their roles, and give that information to the governments, prosecutors and journalists who can act on it. We publish our findings. But our goal is the action that follows.
Without enablers, corrupt regimes lose their reach.
